1. Introduction & Our Commitment

Welcome to Meera AI ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your personal privacy and understand that astrological birth details represent intimate, sensitive personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, process, store, and safeguard your data when you use the Meera AI mobile application and related web services.

2. Information We Collect

To provide accurate Vedic astrological calculations and conversational AI guidance, we collect:

• Astrological Birth Data: Full Name, Date of Birth, Exact Time of Birth, City/Town of Birth, Geographic Latitude & Longitude coordinates, and Gender (used exclusively to calculate planetary Lagna, Bhavas, Dashas, and Gochar transits).
• Account & Contact Data: Email address, mobile telephone number (for OTP verification and customer support), and profile picture (if provided via Google Sign-In).
• Conversational Data: Queries you ask Meera or Reva, astrological preferences, and language selections (Hinglish/English).
• Device & Diagnostics Data: Device model, Android OS version, IP address, and anonymized crash logs to troubleshoot technical performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

• Generating your Vedic Kundli, Navamsha (D9), planetary placements, and Vimshottari Mahadasha timeline.
• Powering real-time AI conversational consultations tailored specifically to your planetary chart.
• Delivering daily transit notifications (Gochar) and auspicious Muhurta windows.
• Processing subscription activations and renewals via Razorpay.
• Preventing unauthorized abuse, fraud, and maintaining platform security.

4. Payments & Financial Security (Razorpay)

All financial transactions, UPI AutoPay mandates, and subscriptions are processed through Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorized and PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment aggregator.

Meera AI does NOT collect, view, or store credit card numbers, debit card PINs, CVVs, net banking passwords, or UPI MPINs on our servers. All sensitive transaction data is securely tokenized and handled directly by Razorpay in compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations.

5. Data Storage, Encryption & Security

Your personal information is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) and encrypted at rest in high-security PostgreSQL databases managed via Supabase. We enforce strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring that only your authenticated account can access your saved charts and conversation history.

6. Your Data Rights & Instant Account Deletion

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and international privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access and review all birth charts and profile information linked to your account.
• Request correction or updates to inaccurate birth information.
• Permanently Delete Your Account: You can delete your account and all associated charts and chat history at any moment with 1 tap from inside the mobile app (Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing our Grievance Officer at privacy@meera-ai.com. Upon deletion, all records are permanently purged from active databases.
